Re-register some DLL files.

Hi. I have several problems occurring on my system at this time and
I'm not sure if they are related or not. Here is one of them:
When I click on a link in most cases nothing happens. A browser
window opens but that's all.
I've been trying to get the latest version of RPCRT4.DLL for instance
and people have been kind enough to reply to my query with a link to
an article or a download page. I must copy and paste the link into
IE6's address bar in order to bring up the page. This doesn't always
happen. I can follow some links and some I can't
Any Ideas??

I have tried re-registering dll files and the unable to open link
suggestions and I am still having a problem. Any other suggestions?
