Notes

Somehow, and I don't know when or how, my notes disappeared from Outlook. I
do use ActiveSync (windows 6.1) and it states that desktop over writes cell
phone. All I have left are my notes that are 3 to 5 years old. Any idea what
I can do.

Also, I di export files from outlook, and I assume notes are in the export.
Can I selectively retrieve notes from an inport?

Are you saying that when you open the Notes folder you find it to be empty?

Notes will be in the export if you selected them to be. If there are in the
export, you may be able to import them selectively, but since you don't
state the format of that exported file, no one can say.

Notes was not empty, there were some old note folders several years old

I exported it as *.pst file

Also, in error, I have two postings on this. this was the first one, but
hours after I posted it, I could not find it so I did another. Sorry

I can't think of many good reasons to export to a PST. Exporting always
loses data. Do you have access to the original PST?
