Not receiving 'picture sigs'

When sending e-mails with winmail (vista) I can type out e-mails then click
on 'insert' > picture > double click on required picture and it appears under
my message ..... always worked OK with win XP, but now I can insert pic and
send OK to people and they receive OK .... but when they send similar back to
me i.e. with a picture signature under message and not as an attachment - I
don't receive it and they don't get it bounced back as unable to send so
where has it gone?? I can receive and send attachments OK and have everything
ticked or unticked in various options - I even tried sending to myself -
sent perfectly - but didn't receive ! I also went to pick up the e-mail from
my ISP (Nildram) account before it went to windows mail but it wasn't there
either ! Any ideas please ? .... Val

sounds like the link points to a picture on your computer, when it is sent back it is still pointing to the picture on your computer and it is not available from the other persons computer.

But it worked OK when I had win xp ! and it doesn't get sent back to me
without the picture it doesn't get back to me at all !! My messages have no
problem getting through to others and my sister's message with her little
picture underneath went to her son OK - so why not me?? She uses her own
siggies anyway ... there must be something different with this new PC and
Vista windows mail but no idea what ....
