Not evough free memory

Does anyone know exactly how much memory is "enough". I have a database that
is not very large. I went to create a report and get a "not enough free
memory" error message. I have nothing else open, even went through task
manager and closed down everything I could and still get the error message.
I have tried compact/repair, closed and re-opened the database, all to no
avail.
My machine has 256Mb ram. I know access is memory hungry but !!!!

I don't have a good answer. However closing running applications doesn't
always give back all the memory a task was using. Try re-booting and then only
open Access. LOL.

Tried that, no luck. Btw, I rechected my machine (at work) and its 512Mb, not
256. Even so, 256 should be enough for such a small db, 512 is tons.
I could try running it on my personal machine at home, but 4Gigs of ram
seems excessive for a simple db. :(

Dredd:

1.) the problem may be with you default printer, try changing to a different
default printer and see if that solves the problem.

2.) the problem may also be with the underlying query for the report. Open
it and see if it returns the records successfully, You may have a design
problem there.

Dear Dredd:

Are there images on the report? IIRC I've seen posts about an issue around
images on reports that can produce an "out of memory error" ...
