Not enough space on temporary disk

Hello,



I have a table with 71100 rows. When I try to run a query on it, I am
getting a Not enough space on temporary disk. I tried bumping up my virtual
memory, but I still get the error. Is there an internal setting to allocate
more memory or disk space for access? I presently only have 256 meg ram
which could present a problem. I do have 17 gig free on the HD. Any
suggestions?
