Not enough space for all 25 numbers and letters!

I'm trying to reinstall the Windows XP system to get rid
of the RUNDLL32.exe errors I get when I turn off my
computer every night. The problem is there is a step
that requires me to put the 25 numbers and letters in
four boxes. The combination of numbers and letters looks
like this: LL/L LL-NNUNNN-NNNNN-NLL-LNNN (L=letter,
N=number). The problem is there is only room for 25
letters and numbers. If I leave in all dashes and the
slash, that won't fit. If I leave out the dashes and
include the slash, that will still leave me one space
short. How do I fit that number to reinstall Windows XP?
Or better yet, how do I get rid of the RUNDLL32.exe error
without reinstalling Windows? Send me the answer, these
boards are next to impossible to wade through. Thank you.

I assume you are talking about the WinXP registration key.
It looks like so:
AWQW8-98P3K-DG8TK-6XP82-B7BWM

This is five groups, each having five characters. When you
install WinXP then you get five boxes (not four, as you
wrote), each accepting exactly five characters. Don't enter
the dashes - they are shown to improve legibility.
