not enough space available on blank CD-R

Up until recently I've had no problems burning my music to CD-R ,now with
anything more than 10 minutes long I'm getting a message telling me there is
not enough space available on the disc please insert a new one...can anyone
help please???

Are you using new disks? You cannot ADD to CD-Rs that are finalized even
if they have only ONE song on them.

Thanks for your reply byte, but yes I am using new untouched disks,i have
burned a number of music files up until now without problems,whatever
software I use, ie. wmp, power2go ,musicmatch jukebox,it shows up on the
software as only about 10 mins of available free space.I have cleared any
temporary"mirror image" files and my 'D' drive shows as having 100% space
available.. but still no luck!
