I can usually connect to a network printer okay (using build 5728) but this
new printer always gives not enough memory error when trying to add. Dell
9300 with 1GB ram. tried logging on to administrator with same result.

Yes, I've added other printers. The CLP510 is on a Windows server 2003.

Can you add connections for printers using other drivers?

What Operating System is the CL510 shared from?

Sometimes you get "out of memory" type errors becuase the Maximum Kerberos
Token size is too small for the number of Groups that the user is a member
of. The maximum Kerberos Token Size can be increased to avoid these
problems.

See http://support.microsoft.com/kb/280830/en-us.

It is perfectly useless to know the right answer to the wrong question.
