Not enough disk space?????

Hi! there

Would appreciate it if someone could please let me know what the error message "not enough disk space"
means. specially, when I have deleted a bunch of emails --- cleared my hard drive - created space basically.
Yet the error message persists, I am able to receive emails but cannot send one of even a byte or less

My mail and internet service provider (TATA VSNL) insists that I need to uninstall and reinstall -- Outlook.
This appears rather drastic

What give you this error messages? A Windows message or a mail message?
Check your mailbox with the webinterface provided by your ISP to see if your
mailbox is still under quota.
