Hi, First post - hope someone can help!
Similar to a previous thread, my system does not show my secondary drive for access. The secondary drive was working fine - with much information on it - then recently I was unable to access it.
It shows in the device manager as present and working normally; it also shows as being recognised in the BIOS. I don't wish to format this drive, as it has too much information on it that I do not wish to lose.
My system is this:
Windows XP Pro SP2
Pri HDD 80gig Maxtor
Sec HDD 80gig Maxtor (problem drive)
Kaspersky antivirus
AVG antispyware
When I was doing some checks, I noticed on one occasion that the BIOS showed that Ist boot was disabled - I did not do this. My setup now is:
1st boot HDD 0
2nd boot CD/DVD 0
I do not have a floppy drive facility.
