not able to send email but receive it.

I am able to receive emails but not send it......I had
firewall which I though was the problem but I removed
them and still the problem exists....I am able to send
from Office but not home, it keeps saying that the SMTP
port or

Task 'pop.registeredsite.com - Sending and Receiving'
reported error (0x80042109) : 'Outlook is unable to
connect to your outgoing (SMTP) e-mail server. If you
continue to receive this message, contact your server
administrator or Internet service provider (ISP).'

Please help.

Also, are you trying to connect to a mail server that is hosted by whoever
is providing your Internet connection? Many ISPs no longer let you connect
to any but their own SMTP servers.
