Not able to extend c: volume

I am using in vista premium & i decided to dual boot ubuntu but accidently
the partition was such that windows was left with only 35 gb of hard disk &
rest of 200 gb was with ubuntu..........
So i decided to recover windows with the help of recovery disk on my hard
disk....
I then created new disks with the space left in disk management option but i
am unable to increase the volume of c drive..........
now i am left with a 10.3 gb recovery drive which i cant delete............a
25.2 gb c drive which i cant extend....& a simple new deive of 197 gb which
is a waste......
i really need to increase space of c drive without deleting my recovery disk
drive......

Hi,

Did you delete the 197GB volume yet? You can only expand if it's listed as
free (unallocated) space.

Hi,

Viewed from Disk manager, where is the free space in relation to C:? To
expand, the free space must be immediately after it, otherwise you'll need
to use a third party tool to slide the volumes into position.
