Norton Internet Sec. 2004 dead after MS Updates

I ran the MS updater and installed the goods, then noticed my NIS and NAV
were not functioning...nothing on thbe sys tray (lower right corner of comp
screen) and the control panels for both showed red bangs on several items.
Couldn't install the updates for Norton couldn't get the firewall to work.
Finally gutted all things Symantec frommy Registry and files.

Running Adelphia's ZewroKnowledge now.

Mike you are correct. The fault (I was trying to point to) lies with
Symantec. I never minded or have had trouble with the MS updates.

Mine was more a reference to WU getting you to dump the crap.. it is my
contention that any program capable of discrediting Norton is a good thing..
