Norton Ghost - Network password

Hi all,

I'm using Norton Ghost 9.0 with Windows XP and I'm trying to create a
backup over the network to another computer running windows xp. My
problem is that Norton Ghost can see the network folders, but it asks
me for a domain name, username, and password to write the file image
file there. I only have a workgroup setup on both computers and no
passwords have been set. (Each computer has one adminstrator account
with no password.) What do i need to do to write the image file to the
networked computer?

Thanks.

Hi

I think because you are trying to connect to another
machine it needs the administrator premission
ummm in username type computername/administrator
password you said was nothing and make the domain the
computer you are trying to connect to obviously replace
computername with the name of the computer you are trying
to connect to.

duno if that will help but try and see

good luck :)

Thanks for the replies.

Based on Rod's suggestion, I added my workgroup as "Domain" and my
network computer name (Desktop) as the username and it worked great!!

Thanks again.
