Normal Styles - Help

Ok....I think I am understanding Templates - styles etc.....a little.

I have defined what I want my Normal Style to be. Font Type, Size,
Justification etc.

When I receive a document from another department I need to apply my
formatting characteristics. The Normal style of this document is based on the
"normal" of that user...correct?

I want to apply my Normal Style.....Is this possible?

I've tried so many ways and I can't figure out an easy way to do this.....My
hair is turning grayer by the minute!

You can attach your template with "Automatically update document styles"
checked, or you can insert text from the received document into a fresh
document based on your template.
