Normal Pane different than Preview Pane

I am using Frontpage 2002, i have some javascript that displays a menu, if i
click Preview I can see the menu, however if i click on the Normal pane it is
not there. The html code displays but not the javascript stuff. Any idea why
this is happening?

On a side note, i can open up the htm web page from windows explorer and it
opens fine in Internet Explorer where i can see the menu. If i go into
Internet Explorer and browse to my web page the menu does not show out.

Any help would be great.

it's javascript.

In FP with your web opened try; File | Preview In Browser...that's the best way to see your web on your local machine.

The JS menus will only appear when viewed in a browser.

Normal/Edit view is for editing, not previewing. Javascript won't execute
until viewed in a browser.

Editing of such menus normally needs to be done in the code itself (or with
3rd party progs that generate the code and provide a GUI to make the menus),
since there is no "real time" or wysiwyg view of javascript code in
Frontpage as it would appear in a browser because it is not being executed
in design mode.

You can also see the script locations in your page if you turn on the Show All or use [Ctrl][*]
