Hi

we currently have the massive problem, that we have moved a lot of people from one server to another (to loadbalance) and now other people from within our organisation often get non-delivery reports stating, that the user can not be found on the old server! The user who got the error message then has to pick the user he wants to send mail too once from the address book, then it will work
My suspicion is now, that this is a problem of the autocomplete feature as this is cached locally and not verified against the AD before sending mail
Is there any way to force this or to purge the old, wrong, address from all Outlook Autocomplete caches company wide

Many thanks for your help

Alexande

I forgot to specifiy the environment
We have a Windows 2000 AD Domain with Exchange 2000 servers distributed worldwide. Clients are either Outlook XP or 2003

Kind regards

Alexander
