Non-delivery notices, mail I never sent

I'm getting non-delivery notice for mail I didn't send to people I don't
know. All notices are sent to only one of my email accounts (I have 5). I
know I can just disable the account (I don't think I've every used it), but,
I would like to track down the problem. Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks

It's people who have your email address on their machine and are infected
with a virus. It will stop when they discover they are infected.
Just delete them.

This is a byproduct of some of the current viruses and spam lists. Not that
you're infected. Other people are, and the virus is spoofing your return
address.
