Non-contiguous selection

Hello all,

I have two unusual request by a co-worker. Is there any way to use the
arrow keys for non-contiguous selection? If not can one write a procedure
that will allow you to do that.

Second, if i create a submenu or use the default submenu that pops up when
you right click a cell, can i replace the right click with a key combination.
So instead of a right-click in a cell, someothing like Ctrl Q. Hope this
makes sense.

Do you mean create a non-contiguous selection, move among the areas or
something else?

The universal Windows context menu popup hotkey works in Excel too.
Shift-F10.

Non-continguous selection - select first range, use key combination Shift +
F8, use the key board navigation keys to move to the next area, shift+arrow
key to select range, to add additional ranges, Shift+F8 after each one.

To open a shortcut menu anywhere from the keyboard use the Application key
on your keyboard, if you have one (Usually to the right of the spacebar
between Alt and Ctrl, looks like a shortcut menu with an arrow pointing to
one of the list items - or it's supposed to) or Shift + F10.

Thanks......I feel the non-contigous technique is cumbersome, and I think the
customer is hoping that you can accomplish this a little easier.

The shift F10 is nice but, if you create your own sub-menu instead of using
the default shortcut menus, can you use your own key combination to make it
pop-up.

To hopefully explain a little...when you right-click a cell a shortcut menu
appears.

Now, if you want a custom shortcut menu to pop up on a key combination (not
a right-click) and you have created the menu using visual basic , how do you
assign that key combination, as Options in the macro dialog does not work?
