Nobody responded to this simple question (remapping a Windows-M key..)

Is there anyway to map the Windows-M key to minimize windows? I messed
up my registry, but do not want to re-format or repair it, just
understand what they correct registry entry is to connect the Windows-M
key to the minimize function. Anyone know?

14.5 hours is not a whole heap of time on a newsgroup.
Perhaps you should have waited 24 or so.. Maybe even through Monday evening.
(It is the weekend, this is a peer-to-peer newsgroup...)

I suppose you mean the "Minimize All" function?
Windows Logo+M: Minimize all

That should be a default.

However - since you say yours are broken (some sort of auto-tuning
application, registry cleaner I would assume?) the list is probably not what
you are looking for.

I want to say that either Doug Knox or Kelly has a fix for this on their web
sites.. but....
I will have to refrain and hope that much tweaks someone elses memory.

What happens if you logon as a new user? (create a new account in 'User

Yes, this needs to be a registry insert, which re-maps Windows-M to the
minimize function. Haven't found anything on the Internet so far :(
If you find anything I would certainly appreciate it!! :))

Not to minimize the need or advantage of that shortcut, but have you
tried Windows/D ? It displays the desktop and it's a toggle so you can
easily go back to the previously-displayed window.

Well, that is broken too. But, my urgency for the Windows-M is related
to application development... :) Hopefully there is some way for me to
get that key re-engaged. Hopefully someone with MS Resources can tap
into a answer for me :))) Thank you for your help!

A few things I found with Google:

Could Office XP have disabled the combination? Could these same
policies re-enable the combinations?
