No "Tools" drop down menu? I have Microsoft Plus Digital Media Edi

I have recently purchased Microsoft Plus Digital Media Edition. My main
reason for purchasing this was to use the effects and transitions in Windows
Movie Maker. I have a new xp that is up to date. I have tried to remove
Windos Movie Maker and Download it over again after installing plus digital
media edition. No luck there. How do I get that Tools Drop Down Menu? When
I open movie maker is just has File Edit View Clip Play and Help. Did I miss
something? Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks -Willy

It seems you are using Windows Movie Maker ver 1.0

The Tools menu is in WMM 2.0 and 2.1

To get the latest version 2.1 you will have to install XP Service Pack 2.

If you only want WMM 2.0 it is no more available for download from Microsoft
but can be downloaded from other places like download.com.

Btw, if the sole reason for the purchase of Plus DME was to get "any"
effects and transitions then you have made a redundant decision.... meaning
there are already quite a few effects and transitions in WMM 2. But its not
wasted as there are now more of them for you to play around
