Last night i was going through my programs on my laptop and i deleted some of
them that i dont use often to free up some space. Well, i went to get on my
laptop this morning and my speakers wont work... at all. I figured that i
accidentally deleted something important for the speakers to work properly
and i dont know how to fix it... The built in speakers wont work... and
neither will the ones i have plugged in... the only noise that comes from the
speakers is a beeping sound every now and then... PLEASE HELP!!!!

Go to: Start\Control Panel\Sound & Audio Devices\ Check the volume level
on the Volume tab, check in Advanced Properties if the volume control
slider is at least at the mid scale (also remove any checks if present..
which would cause the silence)... next go to the Audio tab\Sound
Reproduction, and check that the system sound device (sound card driver) is
set as default.. Some programs install their own sound card driver and as
you remove the program also remove the driver and you may find yoursef in
the present situation. Next (still in audio tab) ckick on the Volume bar
and check the volume level. You can also check the lower settings and the
Voice tab for the appropriate volume levels and sound driver if necessary.
