no sound at all

Our computer had a virus so we brought it into the shop and they fixed it. Now we brought it back home and we can't get any sound out of it at all. I can't hear my AIM incoming messages, music from my downlaoder or any sounds that I normally do. I've tried resetting everything in the sounds and devices tab and playing with all of the wires hooked to the speakers, subwoofer and the tower but nothing seems to work. Can anyone help me? I need it! Thanks!

Hi Megan,

Go to Start > Run > devmgmt.msc
Look under sound, is there a yellow sign?
If so you might need to install the sound card drivers. Did you get a
CD with drivers for the sound card, graphic card, etc. with your
computer?

You can also visit the webpage of the manufacturer of your soundcard
looking for updates.

If you're not comfortable doing this, I suggest you take it back to
the shop so they can do a proper repair, like they should've done.
