No search engine

I use IE 6 and when I click the Search icon on the tool
bar, I get a message "Action Cancelled. Internet Explorer
was unable to link to the web page you requested."

I would appreciate any help in getting the search icon to
work.

Download hijackthis and see if you have a search page hijacker

Sometimes,when you remove malware it will stop your TCP/IP
stack from working (Internet connection).
Winsock or LSP-fix will correct the problem,Download first.
