No "Remember Password" Option in Outlook 2003

I want my Outlook 2003 to remember my password so that I don't need to type
it when checking my email. However there is no "remember my password" option
(or anything similar to it) on the account/password window. Where should I
instruct Outlook 2003 to remember the password?

By the way I am using Microsoft Exchange as my email server.

Hi,

You should check your Outlook profile to see what the Logon Network Security setting is set to. Please follow the steps listed below.

Open Outlook
Click on Tools > Email Accounts
Select "View or change existing e-mail Accounts" and click "Next"
Select "Microsoft Exchange Server" and click "Change"
Click the "More Settings" button
Click the "Security" tab
See what the "Logon Network Security" dropdown is set to
Try setting it to Password Authentication (NTLM) and test
If you are still prompted for the password, try switching Logon Network Security to Kerberos/NTLM Password Authentication.
