No printer

Hi,

I do not have a printer at home and would like to open
and work on a report. I keep on getting this error message
"you must install a printer before you design, view, or
print" when I try to work on a report.

I have Win XP home edition and Office 2000. I do not want
to buy a printer for this. Please let me know if there is
a way out.

Thanks.

Hi,

Try using CutePDF - its a PDF file generator that works as a printer driver.
Its free, great and available to download from:

http://www.acrosoftware.com/products/cutepdf/Printer.asp

Access will just think that this is a printer and will work as normal. Plus
you get the advantage of being able to create PDF files, which is cool!

(Thank Albert D Kallal for the link!)

Jamie.
