I think that facility is built in to Adobe Acrobat Professional

Yes - but then a truly dedicated soul could probably just do screen captures
& print *them*.

Please be aware that the "Adobe prevent print setting" only prevents
printing of the document from within Adobe and does not prevent a
"screen capture" and print.

ok fine, any one has a good soluation?

Print out the document, and then hand it to the user, and stand there
watching over their shoulder while they read it?

I can't think of any way to do what you want. Unless maybe terminal
services/Citrix, locked down so that the user can't take screen shots or
print anything. That gets expensive!

There is no solution. If they can read the document and are sufficiently
determined, they can print a copy no matter what you do.

What do you mean a "good solution". Unless you remove the ability to
produce printed output, the user can produce printed output! That is the
ONLY viable solution. And if push came to shove, they could STILL use a
camera to "steal" an image of the document and print it elsewhere. I
believe you need to reassess this document and your "requirements".
