No Outlook repair tool (Scanpst.exe) in files. Now what?.

I've scanned other messages looking for an answer. I realize it's probably
here, but just can't find it. I'd welcome someone pointing me in the right
direction and help remove these blinders from my eyes. If it's here, please
accept my apology ahead of time.

For a reason I can't figure out, Outlook stopped working in May. I am
directed to use the Scanpst.exe Outlook repair tool - and have wasted many
hours trying to do that. Have been using Hotmail (I don't like Hotmail - want
my Outlook back). It's time to try again.

I have have Outlook 2007 and Vista. I update regularly. I get my email from
MSN, into Outlook.

I have looked for the repair tool in 1033 files, on installation CD, and
Office12, and explore - all to no avail. Admittedly, I'm not that
tech-savvy, though I think I do better than most of my senior citizen peers
be a long shot ... not much help to do better than some that are often least
tech-savvy, though, I know

scanpst.exe is the inbuilt tool provided by Outllok to repair corrupt.

Default location for Outlook 2007
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office12 or
C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office\Office12
If you are facing trouble in finding its location than you can gt mre information at :

Though this an eficient tool but sometimes it fails to repair corupt PST files in this sityation you need to use a third party software to repair corrupt PST.

The Default location of Scanpst.exe for Outlook 2007
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office12 or
C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office\Office12
