No offer to remember password

Hi, I was wondering if someone might be able to help ne
with this. My computer is running windows XP home edition
and it is connected to several other computers on the
network using the same workgroup.

I have mapped 2 of the computers on the network and made
them available by just typing in a drive letter, such as y:

I have it set to reconnect all network connections when I
log on.

My problem is, when I go to log on, the network
connections do not reconnect because they need my user
name and password for the network.

I can enter this in and get access, but I am not offered
to remember the user name and password on the Password
prompt.

When I used Windows XP Pro on another computer, there was
a box to check, that would save your user name and
password and the network connections would reconnect right
away.

For some reason this check box does not appear. Is there
anything I can do to enable this box, or save my network
info?

Any help you can give would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Jason

This is a limitation of XP Home Edition. It will not save the username and
password and automatically reconnect. See my Tech and Downloads page
"EasyMap" batch file for one solution at
