No logon servers available

I'm trying to share a drive on a Win XP but when I go to
map a drive from a win 2000 machine I get the following
error "The mapped network drive could not be connected
because the following error has occured: There are
currently no logon servers available to service the logon
request"
I'm able to ping it just not connect.

How do I fix this?

I can connect the opposite way (XP -> 2000) just not
(2000 -> XP)
