no ip connectivity on local network

I have a Gateway M675 notebook with XP Pro that I use for
work. My office has a Novell network. A couple of months
ago, I started having problems getting an internet
connection through the network. I can login to the
network and have no problems seeing and accessing the
drives on the server, but I can't ping the server or any
other workstations and they can't ping me. My machine is
the only one in our office with this problem and I've
tried different locations throughout our office. I can
login to other Novell networks with no problems and have
no problems with my dsl connection at home. I
uninstalled all of the Novell client software and
uninstall/reinstalled the NIC and still couldn't ping. I
put a different HD on my machine and installed XP to see
if it was a hardware issue and had no problems connecting
or pinging at the office, but it is a much smaller HD
than the original 60G which is almost full, so I can't
use it and I don't want to uninstall/reinstall everything
unless I absolutely have to.

Thanks in advance for any help that is offered.

Sounds to me like you need to add the TCP/IP stack to the
protocols for the Network card.
