No Incoming Mail

Help please, I am lost with this. I used Outlook 2002, all updated to latset
version. Working well till 2 months ago when I cant received email from but
can send out.
Whenever I clicked in 'send and receive', the progress bar will show that it
is downloading the email coming in but at the end this error will pop up;

Sending and Receiving' reported error (0x800CC0F): 'The connection to the
server was interrupted. If thsi problem continues, contact your server
administrator or Internet service providr (ISP). The server respond:'

Well, my ISP cant help. I am lost. Please advise.

Not sure why your ISP can't help. Have you triple-checked your e-mail
service properties? Tools | E-mail accounts...
