No hyperlinks visible on web page

S

Steve

I made a web site using Front Page 2003, after publishing
it I can't see any of the hyperlinks in my browser I used
both netscape and internet explorer. Other people can see
the web site just fine, it is only on my computer that
the links don't show up. I can see everything fine from
within frontpage using the preview feature but when I
connect to the web site there are no links visible.
The source code on the web page shows the correct code
but nothing shows up. Any idea what is going on here?
I'm not sure if this problem is caused by using frontpage
or not. I can see all other pages on the web just fine.
The only problem is with the site I created on this pc
with frontpage 2003.
Thanks for any help on this matter.

By can't see I mean they are not visible on my screen.
I can make a gif a hyperlink or I can make simple type a
hyper link yet neither one will be vivsible on my screen.
I can place the mouse over the area where the hyperlink
should appear and the mouse will not change to a hand as
if a link were underneath it. As i said previously this
problem only apperas in the web page I made and published
with front page 2003, all other web sites work fine.
The problem is in both netscape and IE. I checked the
custom colors it is set to use windows colors.

The page is at www.hanrahanfamily.com
All I can see on both my browsers is the word "links"
on the left hand side of the page. There should be some
links underneath that word in the shape of shamrocks.
If i go to www.amegaproxy.com and use their site to

You need to remove all spaces
from page names and image names,
and replace them with underscores _
Most browsers can't deal with spaces and replace them with %20
which results in images/waving irish flag.gif
becoming images/waving%20irish%20flag.gif
Change all of them so they read like this
images/waving_irish_flag.gif

A little bit of work but it has to be done.

I tried changing all the spaces to underscores but I
still go the same results. So I went back and renamed all
the gifs to abbreviated names with no spaces at all and
still have the same problem.
I even tried moving all the gifs out of the image folder
into the main folder but no luck.
Any more ideas?
Thanks for your help.

Just a thought...
Have you got Zone Alarm or a similar Firewall installed?
It can disable hover buttons etc. Maybe your hyperlinks as well?

Yes they appear fine to everyone but me it seems.
I finally gave up and just made text hyperlinks.
I found that the links that I made in adobe photoshop are
the ones that won't appear on my screen perhaps I made
them a wrong way.
Thanks for all the help it is very appreciated!
Steve

Your link are appearing just fine. The active links are Home and Photo
Gallery

Genealogy, Calendar and Guest Book have not been defined as hyperlinks.
