No host scsi found

I just dusted off my old HP P5 and plugged it into my XP HOME machine
Ultra Initio SCSI card. It work great from the start. My green
button works also. I also scanned directly into Photoshop.

I pulled out my old HP5 and plugged it into my scsi card (Initio Ultra
SCSI).
Without loading any software I pushed the green button and I got a
popup to select program. I elected the Windows camra & scanner
program and was able to scan a few photos with no problem. I was even
able to scan directly into Photoshop. I don't see any reason to load
the HP software.

Have you tried to use SYSTEM RESTORE. It restores your system to a
point in time without affecting saved document files. Go to help and
type SYSTEM RESTORE. There is a Wizard that should be able to guide
you through. Hopefully you can get to the point before loading the HP
software.
