no formatting change tracking

is there a way for me to track everything OTHER THAN formatting changes? My
Word, for whatever reason, has gone to tracking formatting changes that are
done on newly entered text (in other words, changes on changes that haven't
been accepted) which it never did before (would always assume changes within
changes are not trackable until the first set is accepted). It's starting to
drive me crazy, and frankly I don't care about formatting changes. I care
about content changes. Anything I can do?

Thx.

You can't stop it from tracking these changes, but you can choose not to see
the markup. On the Reviewing toolbar, click the arrow beside Show and
deselect Formatting.

Suzanne, as always you seem to come up with the answer before anyone else.
That's probably what it was...the fact that I may have inadvertently turned
that off.

Thx.
