"No Disc In Drive"

My problem is similar to others on post; when i insert a CD-RW in drive, i
get pop up of "no Disc in Drive". Recorded CDs and DVDs work fine. I beleive
this computer has worked with blanks in year past to record onto.

Hello,

Does the drive work with other CD-RW media? If yes, the CD-RW may be
defective.
