No Desktop.No Start Menu..when computer opens..

When I start my computer....it loads..to the desktop...right?.....

and it also will show your startmenu where you can go to you
Programs..right?...

But for me...when I start.....I only see the backround...i dont se
anymore..except for my abstract backround....BTW..im using interne
thru...WINDOW TASK MANAGER...then NEW TASK..then..i search for IE..the
i can open up IE..but in my desktop there is NOTHING I MEAN NOTHING..
dont see my Recycle Bin..or My Computer...EXCEPT FOR MY BACKROUND...

Well....earlier..my Anti virus was out to date(Norton)...and there lot
of pop ups..saying my anti virus is out to date...so i decided t
Dl...12M free anti virus(Ez trust Anti Virus)....when i download it...
needed to uninstall my Norton so I can use Eztrust...so i did that..the
i installed Eztrust..then it says my computer has to be restarted t
this will take affect..so i did..then..when i restarted it.....Th
problem started...!!!

I already did Safe Mode...!!

I dunno what..do now...anyone can help?

Install xp cd,exit the info page,go to run,type:cmd In cmd type:Sfc /Scannow
When its thru type:CHKDSK C: /F Agree to restart,then type:EXIT Restart
computer,remove xp cd.

How is suppose to "go to run" with no start button?

That's "Internet Explorer" not "explorer", right?
