no computer is shown in my network places

Dear all,

I am using winxp with sp2 (firewall is disabled).
My computer is joint my company domain (lets say the domain name is mycomp).
i click into "My network places" --> "Entire network" -->"Microsoft Windows
Network" --> "mycomp".
But there is no items shown under "mycomp". i can't see any computer in my
company domain. However, i can use this "\\thomas" to access the shared
folder in thomas's pc.

How can i set that i can see all computers under my company domain in My
network places?

My Network Places uses Netbios (an API) for resolving workgroup, and domain
names, so first make sure it is turned on in your Advanced properties of your
LAN Connection (NIC Properties). Other things you can look at are your
firewall, and Computer Browser Service... If you wish to learn more about
