NNTP service

I am running Windows XP Pro with SP2 and have added IIS 5.1 so I can develop
a personal web site on my hoome computer. I especially want to develop a form
where users can click on an option as well as submit text data. I know I can
probably do this using VB6.

The problem I'm having right now though is that I want to set up a NNTP
service for special purpose discussions but the NNTP service is not listed as
an optional service when I try to add IIS. Am I doing something wrong or is
Windows XP Pro installed incorrectly or what?

Do you have the Windows Time service installed? You can set it up to sync to
an external time server, and you can have all other workstations sync time
to it....

I think the OP wants a news server, not a time server. But I don't have
an answer for him because all I know about is INN ;-). Probably s/he
should check in the IIS group. Here's the list of all the MS
newsgroups:

Right... not SNTP but NNTP.

Does IIS provided NNTP? If so how do I add it to the list of Windows XP
services?

If not why not since I do not want to use 3rd party networking services.
