I occasionally do work on LS-40's and LS-4000's (I have a 4000 myself,
as well as 30's and 2000's), but normally I service LS-30's and
LS-2000's and refer people the the 40's/4000's to Nikon. The 40's /
4000's are a b***h to to work on because they have a lot (a LOT) of
"flex" cables that are thin an that tend to tear while you are working

My scanner is not initiating properly when I switch it on. I may have made the mistake of switching off the power before the computer was off and now I get the message 'Scanner hardware error 0x04620000. Can you help?
