There is a D-max and gamma linearization bug
in VueScan. Search the archives of this newsgroup
for the past few years using groups.google.com.
Search the internet with www.google.com. You'll
find that Vuescan is riddled with bugs.

When you boasted how Ed provides you with his log *data* you never
considered the legal consequences of that revelation. Now that it has
sunk in you're trying to backpedal, but it's too late.

It also ties both your's and Ed's hands in any legal action. Of
course, no legal action was possible in the first place.

Just as a reminder:

I got more info from Ed. He said his server logs show that you e-mailed him
on May 12, May 22, July 24, July 25 and July 27. He said that the server
logs don't contain the subject or body of the e-mails, but that none were
large e-mails. His received e-mail log doesn't have any record of having
received the July e-mails.
