NIC Teaming and DNS Entries!

N

news.microsoft.com

I have a Physical Server with 2 Nic Cards. Each has their own Ip Address.
##.##.##.250 and ##.##.##.252. I have in my DNS Entries a entry for both
Server.domain.com with 250 and Server.domain.com with 252. Half my machines
point to 250 and the other half point to 252. Recently I teamed the NIC
cards, so now it thinks 250 is the Ip Address and 252 really isn't there
anymore. So is it possible in my DNS somehow to tell it that any machines
coming in requesting 252 bounce over to 250 address?

No. DNS won't do that. You can of course change the
IP to 250 on any record that used to say 252 -- but if
machines have that other (252) address hard coded
you will need to go make the changes locally.
