NFS client & port question

I'd like to map my desktop's drive onto my laptop from
about 70 miles aways.

The two machines are fine on my home router and I can
run the desktop with Remote Desktop when I'm at school.

So the quesiton is: what service permits network files (NFS)
and what port number?

Is it still MS Telenet Services Client (mstsc.exe), like RDC?
If so what port number do I need to forward through the router?

Boy it'd nice to have a router that will forward multiple ports.
