nForce 3 chipset

Hi all

Is it possible to install Vista on a DFI Lanparty nf3 250GB? It has an
nForce 3 chipset, and is the socket 754 one. The rest of my stuff should be
OK, but I can't find motherboard drivers, and nvidia have ignomiously
shuffled the nf3 into the legacy pile.

Thanks
Rob

Yes, it will run Vista. The nForce 3 chipset works fine. The built in Vista
drivers work great for it as well.

The critical drivers on the DFI website are all for XP. Contact the
manufacturer and ask about Vista drivers before proceeding. You can install
Vista and the critical drivers might be included but don't bet on it. The
drivers have to be supplied to Microsoft by DFI and the fact that they are
not on the DFI website suggests that DFI didn't write any for Vista. If
there were Vista drivers Vista would run on the computer.
