Nice selection of links there Chris :D

I've just taken a read of the Future of air cooling article, and it made a very strange point... asking cooling manufacturers to innovate? I understand their point of view, but surely it is up to the Chip manufacturers to base the CPU architectures on something that generate less heat? There are limitations to the technology that they are using to make the chips, so surely it is them that should innovate for new production mechanisms to create higher speed (hotter) CPUs.

I think I'll need oven gloves to type on my 10Ghz PC I intend to get in a couple of years ;)

Gloves? they'll run so hot you'll need a full thermal suit!:p
