I set up a daatbase in BCM on a machine running xp home sp3.
xp home doesn't allow sharing of databases.
the hard drive on that computer has died, but I did back up all my files every week.
i had tested the back ups and I could access them fine on the same machine.
i have a new machine running windows 7.
i have installed outlook 07 and bcm plus sql sp3
i have recovered all my emails but i cannot access the database, bcm doesn't even see it.
I have created a test database and bcm is operating normally.
is this because my old machine didn't allow sharing?
is there any way to recover my database on my new computer?
(I'm shaking and sweating here, as I think i may have just lost three years work)
