New Wireless Network with Messenger

I've hooked up a wireless network to an existing wired
network using the Microsoft MN-500 as an access point.
Before I hooked it up my messenger was running fine, but
after I hooked it up it doesn't want to connect. I've
disabled my firewalls, tried reinstalling, made sure that
the obtain all the network settings automatically.

My Desktop doesn't have any firewalls installed, disabled
my wireless router's firewall-Result: nothing.

My Laptop has Zone Alarm, both software and hardware
disabled-Result: nothing

I've tried connecting with one of my computers turned off-
Result: nothing

Please help!

Be nicer, there are many people that are jumping to
conclusion like me . Be more patient people
