new windows mail prob/OE copied settings

I have my email on outlook express on one computer. I now have a sparkly new
laptop (greasy-fingerprint free if you don't mind) that will not except my
same settings.
When I try to send and recieve, window security asks me for my sign in name
and password . no matter what I try it constantly comes up and fails.
Am I being a numpty?
Can I only have windows mail on 1 computer?
I am at the point of measuring study window against new shiny laptop length
to ensure smooth throwing action!

By any chance, are you are running McAfee or Norton antivirus on that new laptop?
Those are not compatible with Windows Mail and will need to be uninstalled
and replaced with a compatible antivirus like the free version of Avast:

password for your account. Then see if it works. Also see
