New window in IE blanks out the original

I am having an issue whenever a new window is created in IE, whether by
choice, or a pop-up, the original window blanks out and I can't use it
anymore, have to just close it. Nothing works, home page button, cancel or
referesh, so I have to close all the windows down and start again. I've tried
a ton of different virus scanners and removers, but I can't find what's wrong.
Can anyone help.......??

I believe there was something happend of your explorer.exe
try update latest windows patches / service packs, it should able to solved
your problems. Good luck!
