New WD 500 GB external HD

Hi,
I just ordered a 500 GB Firewire/USB 2.0 External HD.

I would like to know How do I format it to NTFS? I read the reviews and The drive comes pre
installed with FAT 32. I have an HP OEM Win XP MSE.
I won't have it for a few days but thought I should research this now.

Thanks for your time.

Have a good day!

Hello,

Just install the new hdd and format NTFS using windows tool (right click on
my computer, manage, disk management). Or you can use a third party software
like Partition Magic.

Regards,

Thanks for your help, I really appreciate it.
I use to use Partition Magic years ago and it is the best unfortunately I don't have it anymore and
even if I did it would be obsolete now (Windows 95,98,ME)
